Free tools for working actors

Seven worksheets we use with our own students. Free PDFs, no credit card, no trial.

The tools below are the worksheets Tingley's uses with its own students: audition log, contact tracker, action planner, statistics log, and three stage-specific checklists. They are free, delivered as PDFs by email, and designed to be either printed on A4 or filled in digitally. Each page also cross-links the coaching discipline that pairs with the worksheet, for actors who want the worksheet plus the session.

How this works

Why we publish these worksheets

Coaching is one-to-one work. Worksheets are the scaffolding actors use between sessions. A coach can tell you what a strong audition log looks like. An audition log template turns that advice into a habit you can actually run. We wrote these worksheets for our own students, refined them over several years of use, and published them as free PDFs so other actors can benefit without paying for a session.

Every worksheet is designed to be used, not filed. The columns are the ones working actors actually need. The rows are the quantities that make a page feel complete without being overwhelming. You are welcome to modify them for your own practice.

Frequently asked questions

  • Are these really free?

Yes. The worksheets are free PDFs, delivered to your inbox in exchange for an email address and a consent tick. No credit card, no trial, no upsell.

  • What format are the PDFs?

A4, printable, tagged for screen readers. Most are one page. Designed to work on paper or filled in digitally.

  • Will you email me constantly?

No. You get the worksheet, a short welcome, and roughly one email a month with a new resource or article. Unsubscribe at any time, one click.

  • Can I share these with a friend?

Yes. Share the page, not the PDF, so they can download their own copy. That way we can update the worksheets and everyone has the current version.
